General Data Protection Regulation

Business Clients

GDPR becomes enforceable in Days: Hours: Minutes: Seconds: Are you prepared?

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will see the biggest overhaul in decades of Data Protection laws not only in Ireland but across the European Union.  The regulation is being implemented in all  EU Member States and aims to stream-line Data Protection Laws, strengthening the rights of the individual and reducing bureaucracy.

This new law not only applies to the large multi-national companies but the same principles will apply to SME’s, public sector organisations, non-for-profit organisations, schools, and even community groups like sports clubs.

With these new Data Protection Regulations coming into force in May 2018 this service has been developed  to help your business plan and get ready for the changes.

RobTec Solutions have a Certified Data Protection Practitioner on their team who will work with your business to identify the personal data being processed, where it is located and the legal justifications for the processing of the data.

Non-compliance with GDPR could lead to hefty fines of up to €20 million or 4 per cent of turnover, whichever figure is greater!

If you haven't given EU GDPR much thought or think perhaps it will not apply to your business, you need to contact us today! Remember the clock is ticking, the new Regulation becomes enforceable on the 25th May 2018
